Wiener schnitzel (from German Wiener Schnitzel, meaning Viennese cutlet) is a traditional Austrian dish and popular part of Viennese and Austrian cuisine, consisting of a thin slice of veal coated in breadcrumbs and fried. We're on a mission to experience all of the amazing food that Vienna has to offer. Yesterday we hit up the hot dog vendors for the quintessential street experience for lunch, followed by wiener schnitzel and beer for dinner at a brew pub. Doesn't get any more traditional than that!

When in Wien, eat their schnitzel

That is the largest piece of weiner schnezel That I have ever seen. The beer looks good also. Hope all is well and weather is cooperating. How is Carrie doing? Mom and I are both laid up with fever, aches and heavy cold and cough. It snowed in Auburn today. Take care,

Both schnitzel and beer were super tasty. Carrie has a persistent cough that is nagging, but no fever, so we're hoping it doesn't turn into bronchitis.
I'd say that is drinking for three.
That's just the standard size for beers here...
